Any Americans see this before. Been told its Raleigh made but I'm doubtful because it pre Raleigh take over and that's not a Raleigh frame.was sold in US after WW2 never seen one in Canada

I definitely thought that about the artwork on the guard. No way that sticker looks 70 years old

This is very interesting, because the chain guard looks exactly like the Western Auto Western Flyer “Wayfarer Flyer” Script chain guard that came with The Flyaway.

Which is evidently a postwar Raleigh-made Phillips bike.

Yes Raleigh bought out Phillips if you lock at the rear dropout you'll see the eye for the fender is in a different spot

That a Phillips made Indian scout. Your eye is on the year off the dropout. This would have BSA threading.

Rear hub is an unmarked sturmey archer. But definitely a sturmey archer. It is authentic I got the back story on the bike.

I guess this is the Phillips arrangement with the eye to the rear of the axle.

It's actually my dream bike there's a frame available here in Canada I just have no idea what to offer the guy.
