Info about this Monark

I'm about as new as a new guy can get. Just yesterday I got my first project bike from a friend. What you see is what I got. The tag on the bottom is barely readable. I think the model number is 4106 and it looks like A0080778 is the serial. I've done allot of searching and haven't had much luck, so I thought I'd ask and see if anyone can help me.

Just got an email from NBHAA.....

The bicycle in your photos is what's left of a 1947 Monark Roadster. It has been modified and is missing several parts.

I dont know anything about Monarks, but it looks like a great start on a project.

Also the fork looks tweaked back a little bit

I bought a frame the looked just like yours for $20 quite a few years back. My first Monark and it was a fun project. About $350 later, here's what it looks like. Gary
