Interesting Sturmey archer hub

Any idea what the derailler is supposed to look like that shifts this? lol I know I can get the internal working no problem but as you can see it takes single speed type chain. first one i've seen in person. I had a awesome idea and wanna use this wheel on my banana seat bike ill be making.

I think you just eliminate the master link, and use a common derailleur.

I rthink i tried before and it was a no go. I do have an idea though, I got alot of derailers from the 60's. It wont be hard to make one slightly wider maybe

The Cyclo set up is very cool. Do some research as to what it may be worth.

Hooch had one and sold the wheelset for good money.

I ran some of these on commuter bikes in the 70's just for a giggle. The gear ratios are very close so not worth the trouble unless it is just for fun.
And Bike_Lane, that is a nine speed.
