I found this bike through a guy I've done business with before but I'm still not sure about it, I would love to own it but with condition I am not 100% sure it's worth it. He's asking $125 and it is almost all OG but the frame and fork has been painted black, and the chain guard is missing. The re-spray was done nicely and it was disassembled to do it, has nice chrome, OG seat, slick, SA 3 speed with trigger shifter, If it wasn't painted it'd be a no brainer but I'm just not sure how much the re-spray hurts the value. Any help? Advice?

These were reproduced in 2004. An original one may be worth it in this condition but a new one may not be. If you like it, do it!

Well I got it by trade and ended up in a comfortable spot either way. I traded my .410 shotgun for it. (Worth $100 but I only had $28 in it) So guys is it the real McCoy or a re-pop? I didn't know they ever re-poped these.

I looked closer and the rear dropouts have "Chain Bike corp" engraved on them. Either way I think it's a cool bike and it rides great.

You're right! I mistook it for a Raleigh Chopper at first sight and my fingers were quicker than my brain

Wooo! Cool! You had me scared there for a minute. Any idea of a year on this? Is there a way to find out? I did a quick look for serial #'s but didn't see them. I'll look again tomorrow.
