It sure looks bent to me. I would expect the left crank arm to be the same height above the flat surface in both pictures. That's left side on a bicycle, not left side in the second picture picture.
Someone put all they had into it to get it to twist like that. I could do that when I was a young guy, standing on the pedals and pulling up on the handlebars. The problem is straightening it, it will be weakened where the bend was, so it will be prone to cracking. Unless you ride easy all the time like I do.
Definitely bent & I agree with Wildcat, strength will be compensated, ride easy, no wheelies & you will probably be ok. I would think it would be hard to bend on like that but I too have seen a few bent that bad.
i seen cranks bent from hard bunny hopping & jumping, i have bent one back from reverse bunny hopping puting the bent part one the bottom side when i hopped on it
