Items made from bike parts...

What have you made from bike parts that was not intended to be used as a ridable bike. Well I noticed at the end of winter my mail box post was rusting out. So I thought why not use a bike frame that I couldn't use as a bike anymore. So I took the frame and what was left of the forks for it and fabricated up a mail box post.

Here it is...

I made 2 of these axes from old bicycle seat posts, a chain sprocket, and some leftover paint. Very effective zombie apocalypse weapon... I have actually used it to chop a chunk off a tree stump that my mower kept hitting. I need to chop the seat tube out of a junk frame so I can make a handle extension.
