Here is one i picked up via CL. Its a 3 speed s.a. with a coaster.
Its pretty funny, i answered an ad listing a "free OLD blue boys 26" Schwinn" Called the lady and she said "yeah, its pretty old, i think its from the 60's" MY heart was racing! I could barely get there fast enough.

When she took me into the garage, i saw this...

Kinda bummed, but you cant beat FREE, esp. since its a 3 speed.
Can anyone help me date this thing?
Also, should i just part it out, or would it be better to fix up and flip?

Thanks Hooch!

i like the way the breezes look, but if you part it out, i need that rear fender reflector, if you please

Thanks for the input guys,
So my big question is- what should I do with it? I was thinking of converting the mrs' bike: using the wheels:

Would that be feasible? (i'd really like her to have 3 speeds)
What should I do with the rest of it? (looks like the r reflector is spoken for!)
Next question, those should be s-6 or s-7 rims, correct? will i have tire options? if so, what?

Sorry, lots of questions...

tomb, you can cut out that Breeze top bar and flip it upside down for a nice start on a Board Tracker.

For future reference, the 'bunch o bikes' website has a good how to on identifying schwinns. cool bike.
