my shoes/brakes for my bike.
so i asked her, what did you get this from? her answer was perfect "theyre my brakes for my bike like yours"
coaster brake and hand brakes on a 12" bike with training wheels, and she uses her shoes.

gotta love them

I saw a homeless guy the other day stop his bike by putting both shoe heels on either side of the back tire right over the seat stay. Just like a caliper brake. it worked great and he had it stopped on a dime.

Man, that is an awesome story. My little girl was just born and I can't wait till she can ride with her mother and I.

I had to share the story with my wife and she loved it.

They advertised those Harbor Freight trike for $32, I went in and they were out of stock so I got a rain check ticket, kept it for a year and went and got the trike for $32. My son loves it.

As for learning to ride on, I "built" him a balance bike out of his older sisters old 12" bike, I removed the crank, cut the seat tube shorter, and bent in the rear stays to run a front tire in the back too (no real need to do that, just looks cleaner and makes it lighter). His training wheels were teaching him nothing, after having the balance bike for 2 days he can ride it with his feet off the ground for about 30-40 feet.

Next step is to take the training wheels off his 12" Specialized Hotrock and let him go.
