i felt like the ape hanger bars where just too big for this build
and i found a small hbar that i think fits the style of the bike
so i put on the bars in both cruise and race position
and added the metal seat to see how it all looked
I think the bars when lowered almost have a Kelly adjustable bar look to them

Did some slight redoing on the design with this build
New chainring
This is an odd 122 bcd size (not the standard 110 or 130) so it fits with using weird parts that are obsolete
its not easy to find this size spider and ring in steel (i happened to have this in my parts stash from a purchase long ago)
The quick change out gearing that i was originally going with will get used in a future build
Next in the changes is the front wheel
I ended up going to a schwinn 24" either s-5 or s-6
tire size reads as a 24 x 1/3/8 (32-547)
turns out the tread pattern is similar too
I found the 590 wheel (turns out the one I had was not a 584 wheel) doesn't have a tire available with a similar tread
and the 584 wheel which does have a similar tread
but I cant seen to find a steel rim in the 584 size
Also found this girls/juvenile steel seat internals that are smaller than what I originally had to use
