Original paint but crusty. The rear wheel had been swapped years ago and has a Morrow blackout coaster hub. The fork is bent pretty bad.

Can you straighten that type of solid fork?

The bends are from side to side, one leg looks like an 'S' from the front view.

Might need to heat it before trying to straighten it. Has anyone done this out there? I'm open to suggestions!

It's a shame the patina is so cool or I'd say look for a replacement. A Murray fork of that vintage shouldn't be too hard to find....

In theory a solid fork should be easier to hammer straight than a tubular one. No worry about crushing the tubing.

I've been looking for a good candidate for a motorized bike, and this one might be it. If so, I'll probably swap the fork for a truss type fork anyway.
