Great score GC. The racks are the good Schwinn racks, the front one is neat, it pulls up and back for your school books :D
Thanks, found it at a little antique shop in Bloomington Il. It's pretty crusty, rack is pitted bad but I did see how that front rack works, and it's pretty weird. A little mouse trap that can dislocate it's jaw a bite a rat! It even has Schwinn Tractors on it, they're pretty toasted too. All the nuts have been sprayed with PBlaster, should all be easy except the stem. I'd like to take it for a spin this afternoon. Then tear it down for some TLC.

Good score/ Good price
When I read Jaguar, I wasn't sure if I'd see a Schwinn or a Fender.

I would like to play a Jaguar, I've even never seen one up close.
I do have two Jazzmasters tho...

Great score.
I thought the thread said Jaquarl and was a play on your name and the bike.

I've never seen a jaguar or mustang in person myself, but I did play a jagstang once. Odd looking guitar, only from the imagination of Kurt Cobain I guess.

Well I was gonna write wrenched... but I hammered on this bike some this afternoon, and still didn't get it rolling. Stem is in there rusted tight, broke the wedge bolt, so I beat on it some more. Everything else came free no problem, even the seat post is a nice shiny chrome. The frame is straight even if a bit crusty and its gonna be a nice little rat soon enough. Probably start a little "Jaguarl" build thread...
