Just got in two old-school 10 speeds that a junker buddy had on his truck. Normally I'd save my money for something good but I could not let them go to the scrapyard in this good of shape. and they were cheap so I should be able to turn a quick profit. Paid $9 for both!
The first one is a Coast King 10 speed, Distributed by the old Coast to Coast stores, paint looks like new and looks like the chrome will shine up nicely, also came with some sweet Diamondback caged pedals that would look sweet on my Ross Piranha (one reason I bought it and my GF wants the gel seat for her bike).
Second Is a killer condition, Schwinn Le Tour Tourist, Coppertone paint looks great, few chips on the fork over the chrome, Quick change front axle, some aftermarket plastic fenders that will probably come off before I'm done, Double hairpin seat that I have never seen before, and it is one tall son of a gun! I can just barely ride it. I shined up the front rim and tire and left the back alone so you could see the before and after. And it was getting dark.
Badged as a Schwinn Chicago but the seat tube is labeled built in Taiwan for Schwinn of Chicago

Serial # 1A05010 Anybody know how to decode a Japanese Schwinn ???
dual hairpin seat
Broken rear fender cheap plastic, They say made in Germany so I am guessing they are not original and they just don't "look" right.
