Ok, check this out. I find a bike on C/L. Made a time to go get it then realized I forgot i had a golf event all day. So I reached out to a fellow rat rodder, AKA Kota/Larry to see if he could bail me out. I asked if he could grab the bike for me. Not only did he never hesitate to SAY YES , but he fronted me the cost of the bike (not cheap) with even less hesitation!! You want to talk about a great guy? That being said... T H A N K Y O U K O T A. I R E A L L Y A P P R E C I A T E !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My pleasure..........So far today, I've got the forks bent to 90 degrees. Did the frame in primer (didn't get a chance to sand it). Fenders, front and rear rack, tires and rims, "just" made it to the trash bin before the truck came...Again, MY pleasure, you'll like the improvements.

Makes me feel bad that I couldn't be as accommodating when Glenn asked me to grab a bike in NY... just didn't have the room. Did you ever work out a deal with those guys? I might still be able to grab it in coming weeks if you still want it.

ohhhh so funny big guy! I know the "fold-up" bike has two hinges. Im sure that I can get at least three more hinges on that thing!

Larry is a great guy! As a matter of fact, the whole group of New England Rat Rodders are pretty great. I should also point out that Ian picked up an eBay bike for me in New Jersey and delivered it to Monson this spring. Gotta love the willingness to help out.

But Glenn, I'm concerned about one thing...it seems 2 times now in as many weeks, golfing has taken priority over bikes. I'm getting worried about you! :lol: :mrgreen:

Ya know if Larry is such a great guy he would have golfed for you while you got the bike. He could have used your clubs and..............wait bad idea, he would have tried to bend the the drivers as practice for his new build. That boy loves to bend things, gotta love him!
