I know I'd ask about both but I think I'd ask about the bike first then mention the car too.

car first now if it was a different bike say a boys tank bike i would say both. but come on that is a two door at least it looks like it real solid and i think i see a whole nother front end sitting in the weeds to the left of the pic i see the bones sticking up. neat photo

just be aware.....some people dont like being asked about there cars though....wheve got a local old timer with 3 As a 51 merc,and some 60s stuff rotting in his barn.... when i talked with him about 10 years ago he was cool with shooting the breeze about them until i asked if the as were for sale then i got the boot :lol:
last person that went and knocked got chased away with a shotgun(about 2 months ago)! i guess he got tired of being bothered :lol: :lol:

Yeah I always go in about something small and gauge their reaction then just say something like I was admiring this thing over here.....you'd probably want to keep that but would you ever sell it?

Then they know you have an appreciation for it and understand that they don't want to give it up.

I hadn't even noticed, I love the forums here, everybody's great and very helpful. Even when I'm just having a brain fart and can't think straight. I work on bikes daily so a lot of posting there, Fresh finds I find a lot of, and selling a few parts here and there. Plus just shooting the breeze cause I'm bored. I guess it adds up quick.

Anyway, to be honest I'd have to overlook the bike for the car. I'm in the process of searching out a semi-complete late 20's to mid 30's car to build into a traditional style hot rod. speaking of which, does anyone know of anything?

bike? oh, i guess there is a bike there!Ha! :wink: definately the car. now if it were a men's prewar hawthorne,elgin,rollfast, etc, that would be a different story! the car is awesome. a bike like that is alot more easy to come by. :wink:

The car is more desireable to me. I only have a few old cars but I have like 40 bikes.
