While compiling parts for "This little piggy" and with the amount of times I've gotten parts then changed my mind. I've decided to do a "sister" build with some of those parts. This 1984 Montgomery Wards Open Road "Sparkler" girls bike is the base.
I thinking about using the existing paint layout, but repaint both the white and the blue in this pearl white paint and this Kandy blue. And then paint "This Little Piggy" same colors but opposite layout. That's gonna be the coolest little girl's bike West of the Mississippi and East of the Black Hills!
You could always keep the blue bars and maybe look for a metallic blue spray to match and pull the fenders and chain guard and spray them to match. Just a thought. I like how the bright blue 'takes it up a notch' !
Looks like I'm going to have to do a color change. The pearl white paint is not looking good. I'm leaning towards a metal flake Silver instead of the white. I'll be spending tomorrow stripping it down again.
I did give her some jewelry though.

Actually not at all. They are gem ribbons. I just roll out the length and then cut the web the gems are connected to.Wow, that's cool! I bet that took a while.
Got these on Amazon for $30 delivered. They have them in silver and black as well. You need about 5 hands to put them together and get everything lined up though. Lol. The forks a NOS 1977 Murray Fire Kat forks. The forks on "This little Piggy" are from the 1977 Murray King Kat.awwww man im lovin those forks n blue bars, I was in the motorcross shop last week and spied some pit bike bars but @$70 and up I took a wide berth but their metallic color choice's were amazing!
this will be the sickest girlies bike ever!
