we started talking about doing the bike and she said how are we gunna paint the name and curly Q's back on it had to show her pinstriping videos.

Yeah,the story I heard it was to cover up a buffer burn from one of the old guys (I mean that in a good way) back in the '50's.

i read something years back in auto graphics that roth and dutch started doing the 'modern' striping to cover up grinder marks under the fresh paint
