Killer Chrome?

anyone ever try Alsa Killer Chrome spray paint?? Hella expensive but it looks pretty awesome from the ads... :roll:

Wow! That actually looks really, REALLY good. I've never seen a chrome spray that I thought looked even decent at best.
But for $40 a can you'd better spray on a day with very still air.

never used the spraybomb but did shoot some out of a gun.

i have never seen a spraybomb paint job even come close to BC/CC as far as
finish and depth and the high end stuff looked like crap.

Uhhhh, that Xbox looks like absolute crap. ESPECIALLY with all these steps involved....

1. Sand w/ 600.
2. Degreaser
3. Adhesion promoter Bulldog
4. 2 coats of black.
5. One coat of clear
6. Rubbing compound
7. Coat of chrome
8. Two coats of clear
9. Wetsand w/ 1000.
10. Two more coats of clear
11. Wetsand again w/ 1000.
12. Wetsand w/ 1500.
13. Wetsand w/ 2000.
14. Rubbing compound
15. Polish
16. Finishing compound
17. Wax

Dude, seriously, that'd take me 2 weeks if I worked on it diligently and $75 in materials PLUS the chrome spray for another $40.
I wouldn't think twice about parting with the money and investing the time if the result was good, but again, do not want!

I hadn't seen teh X-box one, but the guy in the product demo didn't do all that sanding and it looked pretty dang good.... $40 tho.... :roll:
