Thought I move some photos from my intro into a build thread. This is my first custom bike build, all I know about the bike it's based on is that it was a mansfield. Enjoy!

It began life with a stamped steel tank for a backbone. I did not trust that to support my 250lbs so out it goes:
Welding in a thinner top tube and some plate to the backbone and the frame legs brings us to mockup time:
Been working on bondo alot and decided to move to another area today. I picked up some really rusty apehangers from a local bike shop and hacked up the set I had on the huffy to make these. I'll probably paint em black after I finish cleaning up the welds.
