i agree krylon is ezer 2 work with but is more limited on color selection, this bike has krylon satin over the rustolium, one tip,i always heat mr areosol cans to increse the spray presure, much better ease of application, put the can in hot water for a couple of minutes, its been workin for 60 yrs!!!

I called Rustoleum company told them what I think of their new one time use POS caps & had them send me 10 new caps for free. I urge every one on the site to do the same thing & maybe after giving out 300,000 free caps or so they may reconsider the new adjustable spraying crappy white flat looking spray cap that clogs after one time of use .I had 10 cans clog that I recently purchaced all under 1 year old all clogged . And my 10 year old can works great still .

I found the new Valspar paint system to be wonderful to work with. Always bring the paint and object to be painted up to warm temp 1st. The color choices are limited . Nothing fancy .

Dupli-color automotive paint... (at O'Reilly's too!)
Every can I've ever used was awesome.
I especially like their Color Effex Clearcoat
(a fine multicolor flake in clear)

There are rattle can tricks too...
Try warming your cans under the hot water faucet,
I do this year around, paint always flows nice.

Carl.

Always forget about the hot water tip. Thanks for the reminder
I get nice results with either Krylon or DupliColor

I don't like to jump on any bandwagon...for or against, actually..But..I was using a can of Rustoleum Satin Black for some piece the other day...and about halfway thru, the valve just....quit. stopped...nothing done, nada...so yeah...it sucks, that's the second can it's happened...the last too.... :13:
