Old builds, new member. Amazing what you can do with a discarded mtb and a lot of time. I'm in the process of trying my hand at a tooled leather cruiser-sized saddle.

Can you spot the mountain bike in this pic?

Apart from my fixie (posted under 'other bikes') no. I do however have a large pile of really cool parts waiting for me to design a frame to hold them all together. I have been busy this past year getting caught up with a lot of over due work around the house/my shop. My dune buggy project has been sitting awaiting finishing for at least a year too. So many projects, so little time.

i almost bought a buggy for 500 including a trailer and an extra motor so mad some ol fat dude got it out from under me!!

You question the vicegrips? Why, they hold on the plywood floor of course, what else would you use? :D As mentioned I need to finish it after about a year off while I built bikes and did home/shop/renos/maint.

You Sir..are an artist..never seen a mountain bike look so nice..bravo !!
Thanks for the compliments, that was my first custom frame build. I have plans/parts to rebuild it this spring with a chrome S.A. 3 speed drum brake hub and Krate style springer up front. May even graduate from spray bomb to automotive paint too. :)
