I just picked up this JC Penny stickerd huffy yesterday. Pretty decent shape as it had just been left sitting in a basement.

I've started cleaning it up some and will fully tear it down, to get at everything and will re-grease it.

Actually just placed an order for some Wald 10.5" riser bars, and I picked up new grips at the LBS. After that a bent springer fork will be in order and then try to locate an old style rear cargo tray for it.

Will leave it red for now, but I predict a color change in the future.

I've decided to dub this bike "Wilfred" in honor of my friend who recently passed from a two and a half year long battle with cancer. I'm going to have Wilfred painted on the chainguard along with some pinstriping

Took a Brillo pad to each and every spoke to get years of gunk and goo off of them. Bleached the white walls, but still not satisfied with them yet. Any ideas for the white walls?

I took the wheels bearings and the crank bearings out to find the old grease had turned into a glue type of substance. Got that done and tried salvaging the chain, but I am just going to replace that.
