Ladies Schwinn drop bar ID help

I don't know drop bars at all, but my friend is looking to get rid of hers and I'm wondering what it worth or how much I should pay. The bike is in storage now and she didn't know the model.

looks like a 1979-81 model. they sell for about $65-85 cleaned up around here on cl.

Although it depends on location and condition I'd say no more than $50 for one of average condition. Varsitys are pretty common, and of course its a ladies model.
