Built this last year but wasn’t happy with how it turned out. I’ll get a current picture of it in the next few days but the plan is to hopefully get the back end a bit lower

Look forward to the new chops

Had to take a break from other stuff to open up the fork and see this thing with the wheels I want on it.

I dig the look for sure. Now to figure out how I want to finish it. Fresh paint, try to blend the new bare metal areas or just rust them! Most excited I’ve been about this frame aside from the day I purchased it

Bit of a photo dump. Did a lot but got nothing done today. Tryed out some different tire size combos, fenders and finally handle bars. Didn’t think about how small the cockpit will be with the way the bikes chopped. It doesn’t look modified much until you start adding parts.

This is a 1.75 on front. Bit much fender gap.

fenderless with a 1.75 front

Mismatched fenders and a 26x1 3/8 lol

24 inch in the rear. Just for chuckles

purchased 5 bikes to get the right stem so had to try those bars. That’s a no.

Matching wheels and tires, with fenders and the current leading bars. Really need to try and ride it.

this shows how minor the tweak is in the rear. Fender hole would miss the stay if it was still there.

This poor monark frames been built into a bunch of things. This was a bike for one of my sons after his brother got the build off bike last year. He never rides it. Soooo I borrowed the seat and sissy bar.

Solves the tiny cockpit issue. Need to shorten the seat post a bit but this might be the happy place cosmetically

Chain line is a bit close.

First test ride. Ignore the green grips I just like how easy they are to change around in bars. The banana seat coupled with the head tube angle change makes it feel really long when riding it. Happily or sadly depending how I look at it, the thing rides down the road better then my much more money spent class 1 bike.

once home I decided to see if I can make the baskets work. This is mounted to the sissy bar and I kind of like it!

If Hard/Fast cornering is desired for this build, be wary of the rear tire. When transitioning to/from the lean, that clear space just outside the middle of the tread will at the very least make it squirrely and in road detritus can lay the bike down with no warning. Your pic makes explaining that easy because it shows the treadless "dead space" well. I like how those tires wear and ride for just cruising though.

I think I’m going to go to an all black tire with a better tread pattern but no intentional hard cornering with this. The lowered rear messing with pedal clearance and the raked headtube make it a slow cruiser

Rode this one to work today for a change of pace. People certainly stared at me like I’m a meth addict but that’s common in this town if you ride a cruiser.

Rides surprisingly well. Sprocket is slightly bent so I’ll be changing that or atleast flattening this one. I’m enjoying the stance with the frame changes.
