Customer brought this in for a total overhaul. Completely tore down piece by piece, cleaned, rebuilt and put back together. Not too shabby. And don't get jealous I get paid to do this :D

That's in such nice condition it makes me wonder what happened to the original green painted fenders? Gary

I advised the owner that it would be well worth the money to try and hunt down some fenders and correct pedals. That stuff would drive me nuts on such a near perfect bike!!! :p

why didn't you clean the tires ?
looks nice otherwise.

I couldn't do it. The tires aren't correct for the bike and should be replaced with something of the right vintage. New whitewalls would be so stark so these will stay for now.

you could pick-up a pair of Schwinn typhoon cords,
@ the LBS.they are very sweet. $26.50 each.
i bought a pair to go on my panther.{if i can ever get around to restoring it}.

I am the LBS. The owner of the bike doesn't want to stick any money into the bike. I have a set of original Schwinn balloon whitewalls but he doesn't like the price tag.
