Lawrence,KS Bike Swap finds

I heard there was a swap in the park and it was down my street so I checked it out.
Right when I get out of my truck I see a bike lying on the ground and a Schwinn S seat that would look good on my Schwinn Tiger. After some negotiating I ended up buying them both for $30.
That ended up being the only cool (old) bike stuff there, but I felt like it was a pretty good meet.

Here's the bike, at first I thought it was a Evans-Colson but now I'm leaning more towards a Columbia. Have any ideas?

The top of the seat stays looked like a Columbia.

I'm guessing the bars, gooseneck, and fork are from a 30's-40's Hawthorne. The gooseneck is aluminum and the bolts are stamped with an "H".

Here's a pic of the S seat on my Tiger.

And here is something I found at a garage sale last week, has anyone ever seen one of these and know what year its from or who manufactured it?

The screwdriver handle it completely destroyed, but the rest of the tools seem to be in ok shape.

I think the bike might be a Huffman, hence the H on the stem.

is that wrench on the left supposed to be some kind of early crescent wrench??? :shock: no wonder all the old bikes I get have the bolt heads rounded out.. :lol:

The stem is from a Huffman, but the bike is definitely a Columbia.
