I'd never heard of anyone with a seat post that was bent on purpose until I found this forum. After reading about them and finding out why people like them I figured I'd give it a shot and try one myself. Got one in the mail today and mounted it as quickly as I could get it out of the package.
Pretty sweet. The ride is very comfy. While my legs are short, the upper body and arms are more "normal" in length, so the stretched out seating position is great. The seat's a little higher than before, but it's not uncomfortable when stopped. I'm glad I learned about the lay back seat post here!
