LED HEADLIGHT GENERATOR

I am Looking to put a small motorbike headlight on my bike.
I reckon I could fill it with a flashlight LED cluster.
but could I power it with a Schmidt SON 28 front hub generator?
electricity is not my best area, in fact I try to stay away from it if possible.

does anyone out there know of any ideas on how to make this work.
or if it is even possibly to get working?

I have hooked up a light made from a flashlight array to a bike generator. The flashlight required 3 AAA batteries (4.5 volts) and the generator I used was rated at 6 volts. If your generator is 12 volt, It may burn up your array.

Honestly, with the way LED lights are now, if you power them with rechargeable AA batteries, it will probably last for a long, long time. Using a generator to save batteries has sort of become besides the point.

However using a generator because it is cool/authentic will never go out of style!
