Wow! Quite the amazing collection.
What’s the rear spacing on the Woody’s fender bike?
I wanna see ALL the klunkers in your collection.

This is a Kona thread and I don’t want to dilute it but here’s a few other favs…

Sweet rides. Somewhere here, there is a klunker thread and a mountain bike thread, just calling your name.
Can you tell me about the bare aluminum one with the Bomber? Familiar looking frame...

thanks. The polished is a Nashbar 6061AL Flashback circa 1990 frame made by Kinesis
It looks nearly identical to the Mongoose mountain cruisers (marketed under several model names/configurations...Zuma being a more common one) ...

7005 Al, cantilever bars, and offered in multiple sizes (the smalls look pretty much like a standard cantilever cruiser).

Got my Humuhumunukunukuapua’a back from getting the frame repaired today. I’ve decided to Spray Bike it, because I have nothing to lose. If down the line I want paint or powder, no problem. The two holes someone drilled in the toptube are fixed. It will probably be the 80’s tribute colors of my childhood in south Florida, Miami Subs pink and teal. I’m really pleased because it’s a large frame.

Thanks! I did see those. It’s not the right decal for my frame, alas. My frame remains just that for now while I try to decide what I want to do about the rear wheel. Mine is 135 for a Nexus. I’m personally opposed to building it with a Nexus but also don’t “need” another single speed. In the meantime I’ve been getting my kids bikes set up for growing. My older son is loving the State Klunker although I still think he could use a handbrake (tangent about fork replacement blah blah)
Younger is enjoying his gold aluminum Humu.
Gratuitous kid bike pics below
Maybe a Nexus….hmmmm
