I had a hoot building this bike. my starting point.

my finished bike!

last minute change with the bars and stem. the apes are just a whole lot more comfortable. the stem is a swan alloy. our aussie friends should know more about the stem.

love this headbadge. affixed it and the mercury emblems with moulding tape.

really glad I decided to use the rack.

a list of the parts used on this build
1. 58' murray mercury frame and tank.
2. Schwinn liberty headbadge, forks, chainguard, cranks, and

truss rods.
3. murray chainring, rims.
4. jc higging rear rack.
5. stubbie fenders (unsure who made them)
6.swan gooseneck from the late 70's
7. ape hanger bars.
8. Schwinn varsity rattrap pedals.
9. troxel saddle.
10. wards riverside back tire, Schwinn typhoon in the front.
its been great fun and the bike rides real nice. now the hard part...deciding who to vote for:D
