Okay now to tackle that problem with the kickstand.
I have to extend the kickstand a little.
After welding on an extension piece I had to clean up the weld.

Well I had to call it a day.
I used the wrong table to cut these out on and the angle I was cutting at was making my back and neck really sore. So the rest for another day.

You REALLY need a plasma cutter!!! But it's lookin awesome!

Thanks!
Boy would that be nice to have a plasma cutter!!! :D

Well I have to take the rest of the build slow.
My neck is still giving me problems. They have me doing rehabilitation on it. I start tomarrow on that.
I'm also back on leave from work.

The snow has started to fly the last couple of days. So I might have to put in my back up plan to get this bike done. (storage has no heat)
I will get this bike done in time for the deadline!!!!

Well the build on this has slowed down soo much that I will be unable to finish it in time for the deadline.
Maybe some other time.
Good luck everyone.

It was great. :)

Re: Lil' Pixie (updated 10-31)

Gigs I wondered what happened to you and how you were doing. Sorry time and circumstances didn't allow you to finish on time. Please finish the bike as soon as you can and show us all! This was one I really wanted to see. May you heal quickly and fully.

Re: Lil' Pixie (updated 10-31)

painted the frame. several times. :?
Found out that the almond that I had picked out has to be the top coat of any paint.

Because of running out of time for this show I actually changed the color scheme from that brown to primer red. I think that I like this a whole lot better.

Here lil pixie is at the Autorama.

As you can see there is still way more that I have to do.
The luggage rack I have to finish and the saddle bags to put on. You can also see since the pictures were taken of the new paint job that I did redo it.
If you look in the picture and the black bike that is behind the caution sign. That is one of the ones that I am going against.

For the Autorama I created a scrapbook so that they could see the work that I did myself. Here is a picture of the scrapbook. It was really easy to do since I already had everything written out on here.

Everyone seems to like it at the show.
Have even seen the judges looking thru my book. :D

Woooowa. Just wow.

I had a blast doing this bike. I also had fun entering it in the Detroit 2008 Autorama.
Here is how Lil' pixie did.

I took two trophies.

1st place in the chix chopper class.
and a cool award.

I was so excited getting the second award  that I didn't hear exactly the wording for it. I know that it had to do with the flame job I did on the kickstand.

Congratulations! Well done. (y'all asleep, I get to say it first eheh)

I love the overlapping flames on the stand.
