My goal is to have the disc touch the rim and paint the rim white. That will make it look way cleaner. When you cut that 4 mm plastic it does not cut perfectly so that's the trick. There is also a seam in there and zip ties hiding.

i wonder if you can cut a ruff edge and either take a file to it like i did to smooth the edge out or even use heat to cut it or even it out , just a thought
