finally after a few months, i've found a moment to come around again. in march, i got a 2nd part-time job down at my LBS, and it feels good to be livin the dream. as much as i love it, its the old and vintage cruisers and other bikes i love to work on the most, and not alot of those come thru our doors. mid to highend mountain and road bikes mainly, but i love putting my years of experience to work.
now for the bike talk content:
the owner of the bikeshop i work at offered to sell me two old scwhinn cruisers, or work them off in trade. the first a late 70's maybe early 80's schwinn 5speed cruiser with front sidepulls and a rear drum brake. good but average condition.
the 2nd, a schwinn cruiser with a double toptube (camelback?) frame, skiptooth drivetrain with the hearts chainring. ser# k17571. any idea what model and year? worth the $200 he wants for it? (and it is definatly in rat condition and a project bike)
