Picked up off CL today. The seller said 1960, other than that, I don't know for sure. This bike is loaded with all the goodies. The rear generator runs the front headlight and the rear light. Have not had time to try it out to see if they still work. Aired up the old tires and they stayed up enough to test out the SA 3 speed. All the gears are there, except it is a little bit balky to change them. The bike must have belonged to a lefty. The right brake lever stops the front wheel. :D

Anyone have a working cable for this Speed- O? The front hub piece is there, the cable is missing.

Neat! These style bikes were designed to compete with American Middleweights, hence the curved middle bar. But Sears, Ward's, and Western Auto imported & sold them too, weird! -Adam
