Thanks Steve. That last pic was taken in dark with some night setting on my camera. I also tweaked it very slightly on the computer.

Latest ride was a group ride yesterday.

soooo, did the fat tires seem to smooth out the bumps and get thru the loose parts better than regular tires?

Thanks everyone for the comments. Thanks to my wife for being a good sport.

Yesterday I rode the Beast on another abandoned railroad bed 14.5 miles out and back.

It's what I call an "unimproved" trail. Only the ties and rails have been removed. Still has the original ballast for the surface. Beast handles it well.

Treated myself to some fries in the town that I rode to.

Riding tonight.

Rode to the casino yesterday. It's about 17 miles round trip. Terrible headwind coming home. Having lighter pockets coming home helped though.

Day before that I went riding in both the country and city for 26 miles.

This picture from that same ride was used for our Fashion Friday post.
