There's a guy in Fort Myers CL posting photos of this bike, asking if anyone can help him identify it:

It looks too old to me to be a factory bike of this style, but perhaps these have been around longer than I imagine. He says it look like it's factory to him and looks original. I highly doubt this, but what do you think?

I think someone with some tubing and a welder hacked the front head tube and rear chianstays, seat post and such and added long tubing in between. I seriously doubt any manufacturer would of done that. THe length of chain would require a tensioner of some type I would think...
 
Yeah, I didn't think there was any stretchy bike as old as this thing looks, either, so that makes two of us.

If you compare the mystery bike to this tandem, you'll see the angle between the two top tubes, and the style of the rear dropout are virtually identical.

I think we have a mystery quickly solved through the awesome knowledge of RatRodBikes members.

They were the first, pretty much. The precursor to the Dyno, and I think the first production stretch. If it's an early HB, as I suspect it is, that thing has some value.
