Look What 10.00 Bought

Picked up these last night from the origonal owner for 5.00 each. First is a Murray Richland 3 speed. It looks like new with no rust anywhere. The other is a Murray mtn. bike. Both bikes were hardly ever ridden and have been stored for years. Both are ready to ride with the exception of the Richland that needs a front tube. Will keep it and sell the mtn bike. For whatever reason it appears somebody took the front brakes off the Richland but still a good rider and all origonal. Anybody know about what year these are?

Nice finds, I dont normally dont like the lightweights but those are clean

I have never seen an old bike like the cruiser this clean. Even the metal parts of the pedals have no rust.

If they both have a decal above the bottom bracket the date will be on them or the stem that Wald does on the 3 speeds, the first is 70's/80's before Murray stopped using Shimano hubs and the other is late 80's/early 90's.

I put a tube in the cruiser front tire yesterday and while it was upside down i noticed the underside of the fenders looks brand new. Not a sign of rust.
