Looking For Clamps

I am looking for some 7/8" tubing clamps to attach a cross brace to a set of bars. Like this old Zep bike has...

I googled for a clamp and found exactly what I need...except they are in England and are overpriced, not to mention shipping costs! Here is a pic of the UK clamp.

I found this clamp commonly available in the US, but it is obviously too flimsy for what I need. Any help finding some of these 7/8" HD clamps (the one pictured above) would be appreciated. Gary

they look rather easy to make.

heat up a pice of stainless till its cherry, then use a set of visegrips to pinch it around the correct size tubing.
