I'm sure there are a few other great guys like this around the country, who in a lot of cases are known as "the bike guy". To a lot of our own friends, I'm sure in our neighborhood or town, we rat-rodders are sometimes known as "the bike guy".

Chuck Graeb really was a "bike guy", and gave back 10 times what he received. He will be missed by many people whose lives he touched over many years.

A lot of kids benefited from his generosity and his hard work. Think of him if you have an extra bike to give away- someone else will benefit from your work as they did from his.

Thanks guys. Even though he did not live in this town, he would bring bikes here from 20 miles away, to the city, to give to kids who had nothing. I know he made quite a few Christmases a lot happier.

I don't have the link to his group, but I will include it when I find it. It was completely a grassroots volunteer effort. He did a lot for a lot of people, with very little money and a lot of love.
