Finally found some bicycle shaped objects that are way cool but beyond repair, perfect for wall art. These will be mounted on the outside of my bike shed.

Completely rotten and seized Schwinn

Wheelman Bicycle Co. Victor. This has some really nice design details

Unknown turn of the century.

What have you got?

Those bikes make me happy. Sad that they're no longer useful, but they're still interesting, and checking out those old dropouts and chainstay treatments is really interesting. Better that Walker is holding onto them and snapping pictures, then leaving them to rust in a landfill somewhere....

The Schwinn with the CWC cranks looks rattable. I'd make it the shop errand bike. The others will be great for display, as will the Schwinn.

No problem, just give them a good shot of PB blaster or equivalent and let it sit for a month. Does it have a serial number under the BB, or on the left dropout? I'm thinking it's a Schwinn straight bar frame and deserves to be ratted out. or hung up as a display either way is cool.

The schwinn is far from a lost cause, like said above Hit it with pblaster and let it soak. bearing, cups and races are fairly easy to come by. The other 2 would be cool to hang inside a shop.

This may work for a bike frame, but wouldn't the kiddies stink after a swim?

LOL shortly after the vinegar maybe if not rinsed out first. But seriously vinegar smell goes away quickly after some water is used. We have washed our vinyl floor for years with white vinegar and water. Light smell for a few minutes then it's gone.
