I found a CL ad advertising an old Hiawatha. I went to look at it and met a really nice fellow bike guy who was having to get rid af all his bikes and parts. He made me a deal on the entire lot and even delivered it to my house. The jewel is the skip tooth Hiawatha in parts. The other bikes were an older Murray cruiser, the empire chopper, the funky neon bike with the steering wheel. Parts included a bunch or wheels, tires, bars, grips, a tank, and tow boxes of misc. bike parts. I could not wait to mock up the Hiawatha to see what was there and missing. And it is all there including the skiptooth chain and orig. wheels. The only missing part is the original fork but I found a springer in one of the boxes.

Mocked up with modern wheels. The skiptooth hub is in parts, not sure if I can get it all back together again.

Outskirt, here are some more shots of the crazy green thing. I am looking to flip it along with the murray and the black chopper to cover the cost of the entire lot. I paid $200 for the whole truck load. I took off the nanner seat for another project and the steering wheel hoping it will be easier to CL without that. It is a twist grip 6 speed and the only name on it is on the side where it says "Street System"

I'm digging that green and the black chopper. Let's talk turkey for the bike or the forks and steering wheel. Nice haul by the way. PEACE
