First look on my new project. "Low"

First of all, everything comes to the initial parts. All bearings need to be replaced and rust must be dealt with. The bike is from Finland and has probably seen the winter of the holy land for a long time.This time the bike will not be built in the living room (the wife's wish) but in the basement. The smell of WD40 was already covering the smell of the food. And finally a bicycle rack was bought.

All chrome parts went into a citrus acid bath. Because there was surface rust.

As long as the pieces are in citric acid, I fixed the saddle. The old vinyl cover was broken and now I replaced it with a red full leather cover.

Nice starting point and good job on that bike!
In my humble opinion it'd look cool if you come up with some kind of fork crown extension to gain rake of the fork. It seems like the overall look would get better if the front wheel moves forward and BB moves slightly lower.

Seat work is great. I like the material and the execution.

Now I'm trying to make curb feelers, and I'm starting to add some personality to the bike. I used wheel spokes and dice and glue.

New tires, saddle and bearings, and the first test drive was done. It's more comfortable to drive than I thought.

The first test with curb feelers, I didn't like it very much, but the one in the bottom picture is already better.

That pic of the bike in the tunnel is outstanding! very nice choice there!

I bought the mirrors from a local car shop, but the color doesn't match and the location also...reminds me of an elephant...I painted the mirrors with chrome paint and varnished the and now look like

aluminum color and I'm relatively satisfied. I also change their location, I also added springs from the old saddle.

I made extensions to the crown of the front shock as suggested by Starnger. And it turned out pretty good, now I have to line everything up and buy more bolts, I'll see if I can try a slammer as well.

Since there was still some red leather left over, I thought I'd add some more. The front fenders are done and now the rear is in the works

I thought that I would also try a hydraulic shock absorber, and somewhere on the internet a guy mentioned that it might be possible to make an office chair out of a shock absorber. I wandered around the basement and found one. The length and size of the shock absorber is about the same as I have seen on versions with a pressure tank. I'll take pictures when I get there.
