We generally meet the second Sunday of each month at the Lucky Labrador on 19th and NW Quimby at 12:30pm.
However, with Mothers Day falling on the second Sunday next month, we'll be meeting there ONE WEEK EARLIER on Sunday May 1 at 12:30pm.
Gathering begins at 12:30pm, and we'll hang around long enough to grab a bite to eat, drink a beer, swap some lies, and maybe trade a few bike parts.
Then WE RIDE. Down to the river, across the bridge onto the East Bank Esplanade, over to Springwater Trail to Oaks Park, and stop for another beer in Sellwood.
Return trip takes us over the Sellwood Bridge, along the west bank of the river, then back to home base. Total of about 14 easy miles in a little over 2 hours.
Not a club, just an informal gathering of some folks with a similar interest in mostly classic old fat tire bikes, but all classic bikes are welcome. We meet rain or shine. Whether we ride or not is dictated by the weather. And who knows, you may even find that elusive part you've been looking for.
