Been struggling like a few other people trying to come up with a name for a build. I saw a pack of cigarettes and thought why not so lucky Strike it is.
Not sure where this build is going but I have a few ideas either old school hotrod with flames or scallops. Or something different not really sure yet.
The base of this build is a 60's Rollfast I got a while back

the stem was frozen in the fork tried for a while to get it out then gave up and broke out the grinder cut the stem so I could get the fork off. Not worried about the fork I have a couple other off two I gender changed and used springers on.
Last weekend I dug threw my parts and came up with this stuff.

this weekend I mocked everything thing up while I still need to get my class 2 finished welded. Made a Cardboard Added Design for a tank got that cut out and mocked up.

Not sure on the chain guard or fenders if I will use them. Will probably look some more for a different chain guard. Also don't really care for the handle bar so gonna have to get something different.
That's where I am now so time to take everything back off, sand, prime everything that gets painted then figure out what I want to do for a paint job.

I took care of an orchard for one of the older guys in town when I was around 13. He always smoked Lucky's. Those initials were on every carton. (Lucky Strike Means Fine Smoking Tobacco)

That's a great looking frame. Lucky will be with you. Can't wait to see it get cooler.

Today I was looking through the junk frames after work and saw these one piece handle bar on a Dora bike with a U shape to them. They fit the fork on the rollfast.

Then went out and grabbed a different pair bmx like cut them off just below the cross bar and came up with this

I'm liking the bmx bottom half for this build with the curved part up top instead of on the riser part of you understand what I'm trying to say.

Might use the U shape to make some handle bars for my class 2 build I have a couple other pair l can cut up and see how they look. Need to get the bike down from the stand sit on it and see how they feel mark them and tack em up.

I like how you think. That's how I started throwing bends at my wacky bars on last years build!

 that built bike stable, Brian! Was 'Dad's Taxi' your first build? Can't remember for sure.

Those Dora bars with some 'up' grades will be perfect!

Got one of those paint and rust remover abrasive disc and my homemade sandblaster and stripped the frame down to bare metal. Then I sprayed the frame with rust converter primer and now it's drying. Tomorrow if the weather permits going to sand that then spray some gray primer over that.

Also still need to get the fork, fenders, and chain guard sanded and ready for paint.

Frame looks great! Really smooth. Fill us in on your 'home made sand blaster' ? I don't remember seeing that.

Yes please!
Just a little thing I seen on YouTube or somewhere not good for big stuff but works ok for small areas. Just need a blowgun with a long tube make a hole in the tube on top use some kind of bottle to hold the blast media. drill a hole just big enough for a tight fit.
