MACGYVER TIME

Got this old display stand from work and figured I could convert it into something useful.

It's a quality made stand with a track that runs down both sides to slide things in.

My first thought was bike rack or work stand.....any other ideas?

glad you didnt say macgruber time :lol:. id say bike display stand. i always have my finer gems getting knocked over.

Does the stand base weigh enough for display purposes? Maybe just a leaning post for kickstandless bikes.

If it was mine I would make little gadgets to slide into the grooves on both sides that could hold small parts away from the stand for painting, you could have mutliple parts at different heights and when done painting just leave it in a corner to dry. It would beat having them hanging from the rafters or any other spot we find handy.
