I finally had a little time to swap a few parts around on my '38 Shelby, and I'm a lot happier with it now. It had apehanger bars, a bmx style stem, a Dyno seat and black/whitewall Schwinn Cruiser tires on it before, and to me it looked like any modern cruiser. I had a vision of what I thought a bike from 1938 should look like, more Dusenberg than Chevy, if that makes any sense at all. Please let me know what you all think of the changes.
I swapped the bmx stem and apehangers for a single stem and a set of longhorn bars with white Lowrider grips.
I swapped out the Schwinn tires for white ones and changed the Dyno seat to a white springer one.
