I use acrylic paint, it stays flexible. I've used it on seats also. But It took longer than I thought it would to paint the whitewalls.

I'm about to call it a lost cause and do a search for a proper set of WW's.

I'm throwing in the towel on these. I've been at it for two days now and the tires still look like CRAP. The black color of the tire keeps showing through the polish and it looks horrible.
It doesn't look like a WW. It looks like someone put shoe polish on a tire. No matter how dry the shoe polish gets, the new coat will liquidize the previous coat and merely smear it around and let the black color of the tire through.
I'm just gonna drop the $$ and go for a proper whitewall set.
