Just picked this up, a really cool all-aluminum Marin beach cruiser that I'd never seen before. Super-light bike. I just happened to see it the other day at my LBS, and asked about it. Ends up that it was an '05 model that had never sold, and they'd been keeping in the back of the shop until recently. They quoted me an unbelievable price, although probably about right for a new ally bike. When I went back in yesterday looking serious about it and doing some discussing, he dropped the price about 50%(!) due to its age, sitting around so long, a couple of small nicks on the fenders, etc! Cha-ching! It was mine.
Diggin' the raw aluminum finish, Kenda Flames, black alloys and tribal graphics.
I've got it next to my desk right now.

...it's so cool, I can't decide to whether to just ride it and leave it as is, or do something to it!
(OK, OK, I've thought about some low-rise black apes, and maybe a headlight...)

Its got some really nice tribal graphics on it . After you ride it a year or so and get tired of the look , you could strip the paint and polish the frame. It would look so good all shiny. I have an aluminum Del Sol and The next time I get really bored I'm going to strip it and polish the frame...maybe some chrome fenders to finish off the bright look.

My friend had that bike. Had. It didn't hold up too well. He did put a hub motor and 40 lbs battery pack on it though. The welds broke, I forget where exactly, think around the seat tube. So don't ride it too rough.

Definitely! I needed a another bike like I needed a...actually, I'm always up for a new bike!
It was just too good a deal to pass up. No, really. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I think one of our guys is riding one of these he converted for klunker/bomber duty in the Coaster Brake Challenge races. When I'm puffing along on a 30 lb. Schwinn, I get envious of an aluminum-framed Bomber pretty darned quickly.

No kidding - I was thinking as I was first looking it over how much nicer it would be to lift this on to our bike rack than my tank-like Schwinn cantilevers!

So are you gonna let us know how much you got this beast for??? :)

I like the simple psuedo cantilever frame design

I say cut the rear fender and rotate it around so it just covers about a quarter of the tire. Lose those front forks and fender. This thing is begging for a short triple tree. Maybe put on some cooler pedals too.
