Marx vs. Radio Flyer

So we wanna buy a used big wheel for grandson and found 2 choices.He dont care about color. Vintage original Marx or modern RF.Not famillar with the Marx but I know RF plastic stuff is pretty tough. The modern day "big wheels" are suppose to be a copy of the originals but are flimsy junk. Anyone have hands on with either one?

Does the max have a pneumatic tire?
Max looks to have more range of seat adjustment.
Maybe , get both.?

No I think the Marx has plastic tires. I like the Marx because its vintage. It also has a hand brake I believe. I am worried the old plastic will be brittle and start cracking and breaking. We will probably look at both before buying. He is 6 and too small for a green machine that his older sisters ride.
