Considering how good the last ride was, I am already chomping at the bit for this one...fewer pubs and more sightseeing! :D

The official ride will start at the Liberty Bell at Noon. From the liberty bell to Via Bikes then to reading terminal for a bite (I'll watch the rides here)then to the airplane, around city hall, up and down museum row then down 19th to rittenhouse square, back to chestnut and down to 5th, through the tunnel, (always fun) to barcade and then back to the train. At this point it looks like about 10 miles or so...without Barcade its 6 1/2, and almost entirely flat. :D
here's the route marked in UGV green...

hope to see you there, cats and kittens! 8)

All righty,I've made a few changes to the route. Here it is as of today.

From Via Bikes we head down South Street to 2nd Street. Right on 2nd to Washington and the Hot Rod show/ food fest at Snockey's .

From there it's up Christian Street to 18th. Make a right and head to Rittenhouse Square, then down chestnut and left at broad to city hall. Past City Hall to the plane sculpture, up and around museum row, down Race street through Chinatown and left on 7th. Past Edgar Allen Poe's House make a right on Poplar and then down to Frankford ave and barcade. Then it's a short ride back up Springarden and across 8th to the Train Station at * and Market.
I rode the route today on my stretch so I can attest to it being flat and doable I kept it in second the whole time, except when my pant's cuff caught the jockey shift and put it in third! Hope you can make it. 8)

Big thanks go to Spokes, our secretary of transportation, for picking up our guests and navigating through the 5 boro bike tour to get to the ride on time.
I'll be working on the video tonight
PS the mileage total not counting the ride to and from the train station was 11.5 miles! good work!
