(MBBO) That Blue Bike

All together now. No fenders are planned as of yet.

I get 7 of 7 gears on the 8 speed shifter, goes from 8 to 2, and never hits 1.

Gonna ride somewhere at 4:30 to get some final pics.

Went for. Test ride earlier, solid build with no adjustments needed then.

About 4:45 or so went on a ride to get that last hour of sun. Rides well. Pretty fast even on a slight incline. Happy with the gearing. I do been to adjust the shifter after the longer 10 mile break in.

Stopped by a park along the way.

Then a wall by a goat farm.

Then by some lucerne and a pole barn.

I can get a finish pic or two out of the bunch.

Some pics just before dark. Put the seat on. Had to trim the bracket to fit the seat.

The other day when I mentioned that I trimmed in the springer, I posted no details on what that meant.

Took it apart today for. Minute to get a couple pics.

Springer bolt trmmed and smoothed like so, with some jbweld on the friction spot with the crown/cage.

Trimmed spring is now also stuck in the cage.

Put it together.

And what does this give me?? A broken springer.

A way to park outside the Bodega downtown and not have the bike run away because it looks broken.

I wish it were mine.

I had seen them around when the clubs from California, Detroit were out here a few years back for OBC.

I got a good look a Jeffie's (STF) setup on his Dyno dragger, and figured it out it out from there.

Bell came today.

Tore it apart as I took it out of the bag.

Painted it plus took the grip ends from Pewter to blue as well.
